March 18, 200719 yr going for 99 by 7/4/07 *Little about me...my names Kelly, I used to live in England but my parents moved to the US about 5 months ago, ive played before on other characters besides my 2 current ones, but ones banned and the other i cant get back..they were 100% rsc (wazd my ex-main, and porkmysister my ex-tank mage). So im 17 years old, and i started this pure back towards the middle of december, and my loooong goal for it from the beginning was 99 attack, str, hp, range and mage, 52 prayer and 1 def...but i decided to keep that same goal except 45 def and have it a barrows pure ^^ So it looks like 1/ 5 of my dream goal is about to become a reality, ive got 50k iron knives banked that i plan to start ranging with using the accumulator thing..hopefully it gets me 99, if not ill just have to buy more O:) I will be training at the axe hut, i cant stand pcing..its boring and although its quicker then axe hut if i just cared about attack (not hp), i feel that its kind of ruined the game..especially coming from rsc when 25k exp an hour in attack or str was good...and now 60k is considered average :P oh well thats how it goes!! but for now ill b at my axe hut;) It would be great to have supporters on these forums!! Some people that tell me not to give up:P and can bump this topic sometimes:P **approx. 1.225.000 exp till 99 By 7/4/07 If you take time to read, please take time to post :)
March 18, 200719 yr Author i trained at those minotaurs in the security stronghold for the first week cuz i was f2p still then when i became p2p went to rock crabs, and i trained at experiments from like 69 str to 85, and basically all the attack 70 something to 92 now at axes:) much better exp takes a lil bit of food though, probaly about a load of monkfish every 1.5 hours cuz only 45 def:P

March 24, 200719 yr Author 130k from 97 attack :) if all goes well, should be 98 late sunday nite...(then school starts back monday, was on a whole 2 day spring break (thurs,fri)..yippy, so 98-99 will take much longer due to school, track, parents, and the foreign exchange student (parents and foreign exchange student are currently gone for a week so i have nothing to kick me off :oops: ) so anyways...i decided im getting 99 range next instead of str (since my all time goal is 99 str, attk, hp, mage, range, 52 prayer and 45 def)...i thought ranged would be slower then str so id like to go ahead and get it over with....went ahead and bought 50k iron knives, hoping that will be enough on rapid with the accumulator thing (cant do mage yet:P not enough money) WELL back to training! close to 97, once i hit it ill be very happy:P 97 just seems so much closer to 99 then 96 to me lol

March 24, 200719 yr Author ive never been pked in the axe hut itself, so if youve got high enough def so that you dont need to bank..i doubt if you ever would really, occasionally a large group of pkers (10+) will come, but i just exit the window and then log back in the same world and there usuallygone, ive been pked 2 or 3 times, but they were when banking at mage bank, so i had 0 food, now i just bank at the north bank in ardougne and i havent been killed since :)....pc is quicker exp and bandits is just about the exact same xp with no risk of getting pked, so if you can stand pcing id suggest tht..or if youve got dec def or full guthans def. go bandits:P (bandits also never stop auto attacking, (where as axes stop after 10 mins) if you wear zamorak or sard. clothing, id suggest one of the capes from mage arena)

March 25, 200719 yr Wow!!!! Very fast progress there! :thumbsup: Over 1,000,000 exp in less than 30 hours! Providing you got 6 hours sleep thats, *thinks* 24 hours of continuous killing (41k per hour). Gratz. Good luck on 99 atk (and strength :P) You should be able to get Strength in the next week if you continue at this rate :P Keep up the good work :D ~James~
March 26, 200719 yr Author yah :P i think it was almost 29 hours later from the time i got 97 to the time i got 98 :), going to try and get 99 either tuesday or wednesday night, wont be getting home till 6 pm starting tomorrow again:P

March 26, 200719 yr Author :P just got home approx. 900k for 99, prolly wont get untill wed nite:(, just got 89hp like 3 seconds ago, like 2 mins after logging in:P didnt know i was that close and ya i thought if i got 99 attack first..it would stop me from pking untill all my goals are complete, bcuz i would be a horrible pker atm with 99 attk and 85 str:P, but if id done str first....id prolly end up taking lots of breaks from attack training and pk; just a lil mind game i play on myself i guess:) ty for posts people, keep em coming! get lonely at this axe hut constantly :) need something to respond to
