March 18, 200719 yr My cooking level at this point is 79. I'm going to upgrade that a lot by cooking massive amounts of monkfish. I haven't set out a current goal yet, I'm still busy with fishing monkfish. But... It would come in handy to know how many I would aproximately burn at my level so that I'll have an idea about how many monkfish I'd need to catch to reach a certain level. March 18, 200719 yr well at 75 I burn around 6-7 each load (28).. so I guess for you it's 5-6 each load (28). - btw I use the lumbridge oven (not a fire at which your burn rate is higher) First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.

Seeing that Cooking Guantlets have no effect, the range shouldn't either. Also the range is supposed to effect "lower level" fish, I believe under swordfish or something. But I agree with cooking on a range instead of a fire for a while.
March 20, 200719 yr Actually, a forum admin has tested the cooking gauntlets (1000 monkfish with, 1000 without) and found there is a small but measurable improvement wearing them ... 2.5%. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
