March 19, 200719 yr I saw it. It was cool because it just had a crazy premise to it and because of that goes down as a classic, but I just didn't personally like it.

Theres a sequel which I haven't seen and I think an English remake is coming out next year. Isnt it illegal to show kids killing each other?
March 19, 200719 yr I really enjoyed it. The plot was kind of stupid and kind of cool at the same time. Plus, as already mentioned, Japanese schoolgirls. :D

March 21, 200719 yr I've seen it, and I have the DVD of both it and the sequel, and yes as said earlier, the sequel is awful, especially in comparison to the first. I've also read and own the translated english book, the book i found to be a lot more enjoyable as the movie focused entirely on the game and not at all on the background of the actual story. However I love the concept of a game, but without the reasoning behind it, it seems rather sadistic. Having said that the movie is one of my favourites, I think it was cast very well, and again as said before, Japanese Schoolgirls :).
