March 25, 200719 yr Everything and anything is made of energy. Or to make it more complex: Quarks or Leptons are made of Energy. Subatomic particles are made of quarks or leptons. Atoms are made of Subatomic Particles. Everything and anything is made of atoms. So therefore Everything and anything is made of Energy. Ahnihilation is proof that you can convert anything into energy. Take this, a Hydrogen atom. Now take an anti-Hydrogen atom (antimatter). Now, when they collide, ahnihilation occurs, which means that both atoms are instantly converted into energy at the rate of our magic equation: E=mc^2. The proof comes is that nothing apart from energy is produced. No stray electrons. No antiprotons floating about, they are completely converted into energy. So, mass can be destroyed, but energy cannot. By the way, splatmster24, are you proposing we stick tubes up every cow in the world? :-k Something tells me this may not work... ~ W ~

March 25, 200719 yr its not the law of conservation. its the law of conservation of mass-energy. you guys are arguing not to make a point (there is no point, it doesn't even have to do with OP) but to grow your e-genitals. grow up nuclear does produce pollution, through radioactive wastes and heat pollution. the radioactive waste can be stored underground in deserts (nevada, for example), away from contact and water supply. no problem. lots of desert, too. the only problem is the heat pollution - the water used to cool reactors have to go somewhere, directly close to the plant. they go into nearby rivers, which in turn kills wildlife Coal, too has problems. I havent learned too much about it, though, but i know it does produce waste just like nuclear power. only, it cannot be contained and instead goes straight into our air, and down as acid rain. I'd harness all the hot air emanating from the hippies who like to pontificate about the environment. :o
March 25, 200719 yr Ok lts get back on topic i would use eather fusion power (i know we dont have it yet!)wind power or solor power. Becuse im an envrmtlist (my spelling is bad i know!
