Read Kama's guide to why you shouldn't pay for trees.

I understand his point of view on the higher payments for trees, but with the methods I've mentioned, there is really no good reason not to pay for trees given how easy the payments are to get.

Interesting little guide you have here Gree. We might agree a bit on payments actually. I do use apples from the RFD chest to pay for my willow trees, but the return on time for the higher level trees is much better so I don't plant too many low level trees any more.

My guide really focuses on the items that are player made commodities. Anything sold in stores is relatively reasonable to use as a payment actually.

One thing that I did think needed mentioning is that most farmers should have a stock of tomatoes, oranges, and strawberries from farming them, so no real need to buy them in shops.

Mind adding a link to my guide within yours? I will add yours as a way to get low tree payments.

Lastly, A quick calculation would put about 1,500 bananas an hour as a more reasonable collection rate, and please for the sake of the rest of us, do not give away the secret of the banana.

Nice guide, but the recipe for disaster chest's stock for apples and tomatoes isn't 50.. it's 13.

haha no its 50 =;

u havent done the complete recipe of disaster chest or someone just bought some apples and tomatoes there :boohoo: :-s

you haven't finished the quest then is my guess, but a very nice thing about the recipe chest is that others can't affect it! so it does not matter if someone else has bought from it... =D happy? :P

Actually I believe others who have finished quest can affect the number of apples in the chest (same as any other store). If it operated how you mention, it'd be even better. As it is, it's almost always fully stocked.

I just looked its 50. And i believe that it does effect, as I paid someone to buy some fruit, an I say that it had decreased in amount for me too.

Great guide, but not THAT useful. 8/10

Thanks :) The usefulness is naturally limited which I readily admit.

If I get really inspired, maybe I'll eventually expand it one day, but for now, this is it. ;)
