March 29, 200719 yr Definately looks like Terragen to me. It's nice although it doesn't really have any originality to it in my opinion. Many of the pieces I created using terragen at first came out in a very similar style to this. Just think it needs somthing added really.

I might be wrong, but the closer mountains should be much darker because of the backlighting (ie: think silhouettes).

First rule of making something in terragen: Don't take the first thing it gives you. - Mountains do not enter water like that, they enter from a slope such as a beach. - Texture is poor, what you can see at least of it. - Bland atmosphere. - Water looks like the default water. My sugestions: - Download World machine - Work on textures. Even download or take pictures of real life textures of grass/rock/ect. - Work on atmosphere/water/ect. - Do not use terragens default terrain editor. It sucks. Can't say too much really, its pretty much a common first try for the program.
