Do you like to share your Runescape progress with everyone?

 

 

 

Well here's a easy guide how to! :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First of all, make a picture of the thing you want a picture of.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 1.

 

 

 

Press : Prt Scr Sys Rq On the right side of your keyboard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2.

 

 

 

Open paint. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3.

 

 

 

Press Control V in paint and select 'yes' (Because the size of the picture is as big as your screen.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4.

 

 

 

Crop the picture in the size you want.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cropping is by using the select button with paint, make a square around the part you want to save, press Control C and open a new Paint file. (File-New)

 

 

 

Press Control V and you get the cropped picture. (I editted my picture because it is in Dutch, I've marked where to click :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5.

 

 

 

Save the picture, it's easy to save it as .png.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6.

 

 

 

Close down Paint and open the Internet. Go to http://www.imageshack.us. Or Runepixels.com

Step 7.

 

 

 

Select the file you just cropped and press Host It!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 8.

 

 

 

Wait a few seconds until the page renews itself with a few links. Take the bottom link ( Direct link to image ). And select it.

Step 7.

 

 

 

Select the file you just cropped and press Upload!

 

 

 

NOTE: Make sure your file is saved as .PNG, because

 

 

 

Runepixels doesn't always upload .BMP.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 8.

 

 

 

Wait until you see links, then pick the bottom one. The marked one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select it and go to Step 9. [/hide]

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 9.

 

 

 

Go to the post where you want to post the picture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 10/final step.

 

 

 

Now you're in the post and you must find the Img button.

 

 

 

When you found it, press it once so you get at the end of your link.

Type some text or just press Ok, and voilla you made and uploaded your first picture, hopefully not your last one. :D

I think this is about as good as what we already have. The pictures would be useful though.

Well I made this for people that are kinda new at the forums, the one we already have is a little hard for people. ( well that is what I thought)

I editted some of the Dutch things in paint, because that can be annoying if you don't understand it. :P

Yeah, I agree, this version would definitely be more user friendly, allthough you may want to tell people about more image hosting sites.

I am p2p and I agree, not all f2p are autoers, there just dumb people who can't read when your saying stuff to them even though theres no one else around.

ok, this is prabably going to get locked becuz there is a sticky, but it REALLY does help. it took me about half an hour just to finnaly figure out the sticky.

 

 

 

my suggestion: replace sticky explanation with this.

Cool, I knew how to take screenies but I wasn't really sure how to post them. I might give it a try with some of the pics I took from the Easter event.
