quickest way to smelt steel?

i am making 5k steel bars and it seems like there has to be a better way that the fally bank and forge and back. is there a faster way at all?

Al Kharid is the best place to smelt for f2p.

 

 

 

Assuming you're still p2p you could use the furnace in

 

 

 

the ghost village of Port Phasmatys.

But neitznot has a 1 click bank and no door to close itself between bank and the furnace. Also you can see - and therefore click - the bank from the furnace and vice versa at neitznot making the whole process much quicker for significant smelting runs.
