A long bone is the new drop which can be traded in at that Dragoushen (Sp?), place for about 2k coins and 2k con xp. Its not worth burying them, but i have two in bank and cant bury them or trade them for xp. (1 pray ftl).

Erm, well i did hear on Help and Advice they're about as rare as (i think it was Lesser Demons) dropping Rubies. So i'd say fairly rare. I do see alot of them about though, so it may fairy on the monster you're killing.

WOW. This task is amazing. 2 Lava staffs, rune full helm, and 200k in herbs so far.

Completed the task, got 200k for my herbs, 80k for the staves, 21k for the helm. That was worth 3 hours of my time.
