Woah, easy there spud, David James and his computer games can be hazardous to anyone's health!

Haha, sorry, but I don't understand.

I like Matty Taylor, but he's neither or. He can't defend well enough to be an international defender, and he isn't tricky enough to be a winger. That's not to say Downing is...

By gum though, Taylor can hit a ball: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgNHoUQEPlg

Anyone who does that to Everton goes in my good books :P

That's the thing though, he doesn't need to be either of those. He can cross very very well from the left hand side, and constantly makes those darting runs into the middle, like he did against Man U at the weekend, which resulted in a goal (nearly 2). Leave the tricks to Ronaldo, and the defending to, a defender or something :P

True, but you need one winger I think. Steve "No Hope" McClaren and El "What the Hell" seem to think the same. If you go by that logic, I'd take Gerrard doing that from the right :P

Back in his days with Liverpool, James started really well, but had a drop in form. He blamed it by staying up all night playing computer games >.<

He's always been a fantastic shot stopper, probably the most natural I've ever seen in a modern footballer, but he's made a lot of gaffs.

Zidane. A real joy to watch. Great

, technique, and vision. He is able to bring other players into the game and when he takes control, everyone is at his mercy. Even
. Without him, France would have not been able to win the World Cup in '98 and Euro 2000.

In my opinion, he is the best footballer in recent memory. Oh and here's a clip of him getting the best of David James. Twice :P .

I hate being a spectator.

I have no idea why; I'm a guy, and I just hate watching sports. You could seriously ask me who some extremely famous sports star is, and I'll probably have never heard of 'em.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

^In more then 3 quarters of the world it's called Football, so technically they win and the US looses.

yeah but that guy said "socer" so i thought i might as well clear it up. yeah i know its stupid calling a sport where you use your feet soccer and a sport where you tackle each other and only use your feet to kick off return and do field goals football. But hey...America ::'

MY MAIN IS LOCKED! PM TO ASK ME WHY!!

*Awaits the ever annoying angryjoe to call them "Scum"*
This alone doesn't qualify them as scum; but it's amazing how so many people on these forums alone 'support' them but i bet you live nowhere near manchester and probably have never been to a game. And then say your not glory supporters. I suppose i do admire the marketing that they have done so that people do support them for no reason but it's just natural instinct to call them scum :D.

Even though i did go see them earlier in the season  . But the ticket had already been bought when i got it off someone so they didnt get revenue there. And i didn't buy any food at the ground and made sure a was tanked up enough so i only needed a few drinks - and i won ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20 at the bookies there so it worked out OK :).

And pompey spud - james should be back as england's no1 despite his advancing years, and big Sol should be back in, but im not sure about Matty Taylor - he's a good player but like bubsa said hes not an international defender or winger so personally i think that theres to much quality in front of him and if included he wouldn't change the way we are playing :(.
