Please post your woodcutting level, and the time it takes you to cut 1k yew logs, and/or how many yews you cut per hour of gameplay...

Im just wondering, as i am level 64 woodcutting, trying to get to level 70 before i start cuting yews, so i am wanting to know how long it will take me to cut the yews...

 

 

 

Could you also post where you cut your yews, if possible...

d wc axe=400(estimate)

i take it thats per hour, so 350 yews per hour with 99 wc.

well, u could do rimmington, no macros, but you have to walk a little while

ummm 84 wc... takes me maybe 5 minutes for a full inventory... so... 12 full inventories (336ct) of yews per hour? so less than 4 hours for 1k yews...

and 2 trees in that dungeon, last I checked, hmm... may want to double the time for a full inventory... 10 minutes... 7 hours for 1k... sounds about right for your current wc :thumbsup: so just over 2 days if you put a couple hours in a day gl, selling is the worst, I usually waited about a month before I sold

It took me about 3-4 hrs to cut 1K yews with level 75 woodcutting.

 

 

 

However, if you're going to yews for the fastest woodcutting exp, don't. Because willows are still faster exp, and yes, I worked it out mathematically. If you're gonna cut them down for money, then go ahead.

I was thinking about using it for making money, Ginger_Warrior, but ive never tried it before, so i dont know how efficient it will be??

This is the first thread ive posted though...

lvl 72 wc. cutting yew between fally and rimmington (west of rimmington mine). takes 11 minute for full load banking included, so its 150 yew per hour. very consistent result, and boring.

 

i switch back to willow atm. and will stick to willow until lvl 85 or higher.

definitely. even most macroers there have high 70s and i cant compete them. :evil: -the main reason that kicked me out of yew cutting.

Ok, thanks, i didnt realise the levels of the macroers, i thought they only had low 60's levels, which was why i was trying to get to level 70 before i started on yews...

Well I'm still confused as to if you want to cut for exp or gold, either way you're doing what you should, waiting until 70 wc... because cutting yews are hell before 70, especially with masses of people cutting at a time...
