April 19, 200719 yr Yeah. I decided to start on more of a regular program. At home. I've got some weights, mats, etc...(The usual stuff.) I'd like to know specific things to do first, what specific things to work out, and what types of exercises are good. If you can, make me a schedule. Let's also make this a workout thread and a general workout discussion area. Thanks. :)
April 19, 200719 yr well , i end up getting my daily workout from my 1st period class athletics but I'll tell you. We start stretching, then we run 2 miles, go to the weight room and bench and etc. then we go finish the day with some more stretching. Takes up 50 minutes. I get faster every day, so I don't mind. Sometimes it varrys. An april fools jokeclick for my mining blog 97% of teens eat cereal for breakfast. Stick this in your siggy if you eat waffles instead.

April 19, 200719 yr You'll probably take offense by this post just because it's coming from me, but this thread has pretty much been done a million times. I mean the others have been about body building or lifting weights specifically, but people end up talking about this too. April 20, 200719 yr 1 word: Parkour. Bleh :P . Gymnastics/Tricking owns that crud :P . Parkour for me - mix of everything, not just jumping and climbing fences.
April 20, 200719 yr Author You'll probably take offense by this post just because it's coming from me What's that supposed to mean? Basically, my goal is to shed some extra fat and get some lean muscle. That's my goal. I'm in fair shape right now (I think), but I could tone up a bit.
April 20, 200719 yr We usually start with a stretch (High knee's, lunges, butt kickers, etc...) then we sprint for 2 minutes, then we do ladder drills. Then we go up and lift, some days we do arms and upper body (benching, push press, dumbell rows) other days we do lower body (squat, deadlift, power clean) and then we end with another jog to cool down. So basically, Stretch Run lift cooldown (jog or something) My WoW character, gnome warlock Saldomar
April 20, 200719 yr Doing P.E at school is enough for me...but what I sometimes do is: 50 sit ups 100 press ups Work out my legs by squatting then standing again, about 25 times because I have a knee injury. Then stretch as many muscles as I can think of.
April 20, 200719 yr All you need are heavy deads, bench, and squat and you're good to go. Add some heavy Barbell Rows and wide grip pull ups for a big strong back. Known formerly as Ameoba3000. Now known as Vigoss.
April 20, 200719 yr Day 1: Chest and tricpes Day 2: Rest Day 3: Back and biceps Day 4: Rest Day 5: Shoulders, legs and abs Day 6: Rest Then back to day 1. I'll do intensive cardio occasionally at the end of a rest day and I do a 5 minute warm up before each work out and gentle swim at the end. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
