People have told me different things;

 

 

 

Some say silverlight works best on demons / dragons as it hits higher than normal and etc.

 

 

 

Some say that it is useless and that dragon weapons are the way to go.

 

 

 

I am wanting to fight a high level demon for its loot, but dont know which weapon is best for the kill..

Silverlight does weaken demons and damages more than one think it would. But I'd say it's as best as good or worse than a rune long.

 

 

 

If you have dragon weapons, use them.

Yea, supposedly silverlight is as strong as a rune long against demons, not dragons though, so if you have the option of using a dragon weapon you should go with that.

as compared to rune, it hits less often but harder when it does hit

 

 

 

so compared to dragon, its terrible

 

 

 

use dragon

now, as to what dragon weapon to use?

you could try for dragon dagger p++

 

or dragon mace i like dragon dagger special

 

as you often hit 10+ plus on two strikes

 

and dragon mace's shatter is quite strong as it is only 50-65k

 

the special attack's max hit is 53

You can always do what I do, buy a d scimmy (do mm if you haven't) and buy a dbaxe (do heroes if you haven't), equip the dbaxe and use the spec to increase your str, then switch to the scimmy and that works well for me.

It's supposed to work like this:

 

Silverlight is a rune longsword against demons.

 

Darklight is a dragon longsword against demons, and allows you to reduce their stats as if you had cast vulnerability, enfeeble and stun on them with the special.

 

 

 

As for dragon weapons, I'd use a dd or baxe if I couldn't get a scimitar.
