I am planning on making an astronomical amount of laws, and to do so would require many dueling rings. for this i have everything but the emeralds.

 

the question: what is the best way to get emeralds?

 

 

 

is it worth it to do gem rocks, or do gem rocks not give normal gems consistently enough. i have 70 mining.

 

 

 

or maybe, should i buy the gems/rings.

 

 

 

i need some opinions, and all help is appreciated.

Well dueling rings are 3-5k each, and emeralds are 500ea. Mining gem rocks is better then normal, and a charged glory helps a bunch too.

 

 

 

Also one question, why do you need dueling rings for making laws?

The fastest way would be to buy in a large bulk from another player. There are many posts on tip (i know as a fact, being a smither) where people sell 10K+ emeralds among other gems.

 

 

 

Also, with the profit you'd make from making laws, you would gain much more than you used to make all of the rings.

 

 

 

And from my time at Shilo Villiage, I tended not to get emeralds, mainly Rubies (out of saph, emerald, ruby, diamond).

he wasnt talking about how to go about making the law runes, he was talking about how to get the emeralds needed for the enchanted rings...fyi-this comment wasnt to be mean, just informative :

I got my emeralds all from mining gold and I've never attempted the gem rocks. :oops:

 

 

 

If you have done kingdom of misthalain thing and have your own kingdom, then you can send people out to go mining and chopping. The birds nests will give you a couple free emerald rings and mining will give you emerald. You can sell the raw material for profits later if you want.

Try the gem rocks if you don't want to spend money, but my suggestion is that you buy the emeralds. it will go ALOT faster, and it isn't that expensive if you buy in big bulks. Check the market forums here on Tip.It, some people sell there sometimes.

Thieve gems from the safes in rogue's den. You can get a couple hundred emeralds in a few hours, plus tons of sapphires and rubies, plus good thieving exp. It's way faster for getting normal gems than the gem rocks in Shilo. If you aren't going to buy them, this is easily the best way.
