Change back RATE THIS!

Featured Replies

I personally like all the other updates but the rate this I believe is a big enough section it should have its own section. With all the sub topics it gets really confusing for some people (me), and if you look rate this gets close to the same view and threads as the general so you might as well combine general p2p and general. Also why is rate this under blog and not blog under rate this? let me know what everyone else thinks.

I agree with removing the subforums on the help forum. Those forums aren't very much used anyway, so it totally wasn't neccesary.

There was tremendous overlap of ongoing threads on BlogScape and Rate This. It was decided to make BlogScape senior to Rate This because we want to encourage users to keep running threads instead of creating new threads for every individual achievement, drop, level, etc.

Yeah, I thought we agreed on no more subforums. <.<

We upgraded the forums by adding subforums so we could USE them to reduce scrolling and better categorize our Index. We never said we were done creating subforums.

Without mixing the topics you want to cover I'm answering regarding Rate This. The simple fact is the way the boards (Rate This and Blogscape) were set up has been redundant since Blogscape has been created. There is a distinction in quality, content and format between a rating for a bank pic and a level blog. While it's arguable they're all fluff as far as topics go I think it's safe to say that posting a bank pic is a bit less effort compared to some of the work that's gone into those blogs. That's part of why the ratings and single achievements have been subbed.

Gen f2p and p2p are split up because there's a more clear cut distinction and you can sort those topics into the correct board. As it was before, there were "blogs" in Rate This. All we did was move those to where they should go. Either way the change has happened and it's staying that way.

Well, when someone was suggesting some subforums for various things (not gonna mention what they are, because i dont remember :D) i said Kiara saying "No more sub-forums please..."

So... Well, i dont know, just wanted to mention that, but awell..

On topic, i dont really care about how it is, and i think its ok to be where ever it is now, because some of the "rate this" things were alot Blog-like things..

So now when its being subforum where it is, people will see the blogscape forum and realize "this is where my topic belongs" or something...

Just my few thoughts

Pixels make me horny.

This is a very annoying subforum IMO, and I found it much easier when it was separte.

Doomy edit: I like sheep

I still would like someone to explain me why the help forum was made into different subforums. It was hardly used, you could easily topics without any post in the last week on the first page. Those subforums made that only worse. I mean, I've never heard of anyone complaining how unorganized that forum was or how hard it was to find the right topic.

hardly ever used? 137,000 posts in 22,500 topics is hardly ever used?

Ok, Watch. listen, if you have a forum of ALL types of questions, and a couple sub-forums of a certain type of questions, what's easier to choose? I beg to differ that the sub forums are unorganized. They as organized as ever! If you have a special gift for something (such as quests, or money-making) you can help people out, in those forums.

To be honest, I hate the forums now. Before I knew where I could find everything, if I needed to look at a specific topic I knew where to find it. Now I have to spend a few minutes trying to find out where the topic would be very annoying.

I don't see what was wrong with it a few months ago, it was perfect then. Now it's just too confusing to find things.

I really enjoyed a distinction of rate this and blogscape; people focused on levels and others who like to talk to friends and post every step they take in the game. Just my two cents.

  • 1 month later...

Sorry to bring this back up, but I could also make a new topic, but search is your friend :D But since Rate This became a subforum, it lost it's popularity. Blogscape is now totally full and Rate this is almost totally empty. Rate This was a place to show off levels and items, but almost no-one is there now. It was my favorite forum, but with making it a sub-forum it was totally ruÃÆÃâÃâïned. Now, with the new forum suggestion, Help and Advice is going to be spread out again, whereby it gets much easier. But in the topic, Rate This wasn't in the list. This means Rate This will just stay in Blogscape as a sub-forum, losing it's identity even more. So I say, Rate This should be put back to the place where it was before, not as a sub-forum!
