I currently have about 1.8m (Im going to sell some stuff too like my D med as im going to get the neziot(sp?) helm) and was wondering if I should go for a whip. I have been raising my attack to 70, and my STR and DEF are both 60. Now, is a whip really worth it? I was looking on the max-hit calc and i could hit just as high with the Dragon Baxe. So should I spend pretty much all my cash? Or stick with dragon weapons. In all, whats so special about the Abyssal whip?

you an hit same with d baxe but twice as slow too...i recommend whip for any def or att training anyone would be doing...Whip is both fast and accurate i hit way more often with whip than drag long or even drag scimmy :ohnoes: i would wait till u got 70 att first th9ough cause they most likely gonna keep dropping in price already can get them for 1.6 mill and sometimes lower :thumbsup:

Whip is good, its better then the dragon scimmy because you hit more offen with it.

Yeah, it's not hard to get into there, but when you do, I'd fight some mith armor for about 2-3k tokens, then go up to the cyclopes and try for a rune defender. It took me 2010 tokens for my rune defender wearing ROW.

even at members under lvl 70 att you should be using the strong hold of security on fleshies / spiders though you'd want 65+ def at spiders

You should keep a Dragon weapon to train strength with because the whip has no strength feature, just attack, shared and defence.

K I think I'll be getting one. Rune defender looks cool so im gonna go for that too. Whats the price of a whip nowadays? When I left it was around 1.8M i think. Thanks for all the help guys! =D>
