Welcome fellow tip.iters to my first blog ever. I want to focus more on non cmb skills and combining these and having a blog running should help me to motivate me. In this thread you can read about my goals, about goals that I have achieved and how I'm doing with working on certain achievements. I hope you enjoy and please take a few seconds to support, it will help me alot, thanks!

A little something about me

 

 

 

My name is Owned_4ever2 but you can call me by my irl name if you want, Bob. I'm 15 years old and I live in Arnhem, the Netherlands. I'm in secondary school in the 4th grade following a bilingual course, going to university in 2 years but that's something I don't want to think about yet ^_^. Like I said my ingame name is Owned_4ever2 and believe it or not, I made it 8 months ago to be a pure account. My previous account, tijger2099 I don't use anymore (no you CAN'T have it :D). It used to be a 45def (rune) pure but I simply didn't hit in wild and got owned by plenty of people with way lower stats. Then I turned into a 70def "pure" to be able to do more things with my acc, I didn't really care about pking and pure status anymore actually. So I started slayering in barrows armour and guthans and gained some slayer levels. Then I left the clan which I had been in for 3 years :o) and joined g.o.f when applications were open. Dk'ing can be made slightly easier with higher def and prayer than 70 and 52. So I started training defence and got 70 prayer with a gilded altar. Nowadays I'm a happy member of gof and love to do dk trips, even though it looks like Jagex adjusted the drop rates . Well that's it for now, I won't go in too much detail what rs was like for me when I started playing on again another account roughly 3 years ago ;), on to the blog! Keep in mind that this acc used to be a pure so for a lvl 112combat I have a relatively low total lvl ;).

I used to stake alot and also done some "big" stakes. However I always ended up losing way more than I won. This is about 2 hours of staking, but I lost about 20m AND all the winnings you see below:

I wouldn't exactly say you have bad luck (at least comparing you to myself), I'd say your luck comes and goes in spurts (like me :P ) I once had a HUGE dry streak at barrows (200 chests or so?) and broke it with a Guthans Spear. I once had flail, verac skirt, brassy, guthan helm, d med, and dharok plate within like 30 chests, and yet I've gone over 500 steel/iron drags with no drop (that's melee, with mage I got 2 skirts and 1 legs, but the runes and pots costed as much as all 3 #-o ), and the first two times I did caves, I blundered with prayer switching constantly, and it took Jad about 5 hits with my prayer off to kill me, yet ever since then, every time I've messed up prayer, he K.O.s me (including the time when HE was red-barred). But you see, the point is, sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you don't, but if you're anything like me, it all goes your way in the end (even if you waste months trying to recover money, like I did when I was lured of my whip when they were 3m, and only a couple weeks before they changed it so that whip protects over mystic top to boot, but that's another story)

You staked away 20 mil!! If I lost 1 mil in a stake I would stop.

That's staking lol. I first won about 11m of him in3 stakes, easily. So I know that I theoretically own him (comparing stats it was like 90% chance for me to win). Yet then he wins 11m back. Now the human intellect comes in and thinks 'I can own him, i already owned him 3 times easily'. Then if you win you simply think that you can stake more and have nothing to lose. But if you lose you think that you have to stake again to win it back, and remember 'i theoretically should own him'.

 

 

 

So whichever way it goes, you will always keep staking. The only thing that can make a real staker stop is either clean the other player (but then you will just start fighting another player) or when you yourself got cleaned and have nothing to stake again.

Ye took me roughly 3 hours lol. But that's np, I in someway like to see it growing to a nice blog while I was upping a skill as boring as woodcutting at the same which I don't want to pay attention to ingame lol.
