May 2, 200719 yr I planned to use High Alchemy to level magic for a good while (Alch, get gold, buy stuff to alch, alch some more repeat) but then I realized the skill everyone does it with requires *gasp* level 70! *Robert quickly glances at his 61 attack and remembers how long that took. Well, is fletching a fast skill? Will getting 70 fletching take another 3 months? Should I alch steel plates instead?

(I play casually, and I buy as little as possible) Cutting the logs yourself will take a long time, but if you buy 1k of willow (only if your high enough to make willow longs) Fletch them to willow longs (u) then sell to the charter boats you will only loose around 4k and gain a lot of exp. Thats buying willows for 30ea and selling the longs for 26ea. I would recommend cutting your own until you get can make willow longs though as its not that far. May 2, 200719 yr If Your fletching is high enough make maple longs. Not that expencive, only about 80-90k per 1k logs. Or if not high enough go with willow longs untill you can make maple longs. Willow longs all the way isn't worth it. You spend more over time than with maples. May 2, 200719 yr It literally took me 3 days to get to 70 Fletching. I have barely bothered to train it since then. ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet.

Willow longs all the way isn't worth it. You spend more over time than with maples. Of course you're going to spend less time fletching maples than willows, they give more xp.
