ive been trying to use the pay-by-phone method to activate members on my account, but whenever i call the number they tell me, it ring once, then says: Your call cannot be completed as dialed...

 

Im using my cell-phone, and im from Canada, could that have anything to do with it?

 

Also, how do you write your phone number on when you first click the "pay-by-phone" link? is it like..(this is not my real telephone number)

 

a.(555)-555-5555

 

b.555-5555

 

 

 

is it "a" or "b", or is it a whole different layout?

I have never used pay by phone but i do knw that on a cell phone to make sure not to all a number with a 1 before it. FOr EX 1-555-555-5555.

 

 

 

Some reasons cell phones don't like that. As for your question. I don't think it would amtter tomuch but you deffinatly need the area code. :D

Always type in the area code (555) in front of the 7 digit phone number. If you still have problems, contact Jagex by email.

Why not use a landline?

 

(As in a house phone)

You cant you a cell phone to use Surfpin thats gives ya the number to activate members, what i heard is that in toronto ppl tried scamming jagex with cell fones so thats y u gotta use a land land cause they know its more realible.

 

 

 

Also text messagin to the US number wont work as well. i hope they get it soon tho lol
