What level do you half swing your picaxe and get the iron ore?

Below 63, that's my level and I can do it.

That's better, but i'm looking for an exact answer, i'm 53 atm (6k from 54) and am still 1 hitting it but i'd like to half-hit it :)

It might be as soon as you can use the rune pick.

Once you get rune pick you should be able to. Somewhere near lvl 50 where chances you start to be able to "half swing" iron increases. Anyway at any lvl even 99, there will still be a very small chance where you will fail to "half swing" iron.

I don't think you know what half-swing means.

 

 

 

Half swing isn't when you only go up and then down, it's when you just go up. I am level 54 now and can not do it.

Mid-Hi 60s, not sure about the exact number but it some where around them.

around 55+ i am 60 now and can do increasingly no hits :D

last time i did iron was goin 55-60, i remembered like half hitting 50% of the ores, ull obviously half hit more as ur lvl further, i dont think u will ever half hit all the time

I'm powermining right now at 70 mining and I only half-swing 5/28 times and "no-swing" 2/28 times a load.

Around 40 - 45. I done it when I got my rune pick. Straight away.

 

 

 

To me it's a 1/5 Chance of having a bad pick. (When you hit it like 5 times until you FINALLY get it)
