most efficient way to train totals

Featured Replies

is it faster in the long run to train skills till get level or to train one skill for a long time then switch or just swich around everything and hope levels come?

and by long run i mean all skillz 80-99 not "train hunter and get totals fast"

also is it better getting all skillz to a minumum level or training the skillz you like to the max.

i always spell skillz with a z >.<

It really depends whether you can devote your attention to a specific skill long enough or not. Like would you prefer to do 1 level at a time per skill or would like to get a high level at a time, training specifically only that skill.

You can also find a mix and match, I do that myself. Devote to some skills for a while, then do many skills at a time

If you mean total experience, it's of course

faster to train 1 skill. For, a lvl 99 woodcutter

chop yews way faster than a lvl 60.

If you mean total of levels, it's faster to train

all skills to like 50.

quests if you got low to medium levels.

After that, just try to stick on a stat until you get bored by it and do a new one. Or combine a few stats (like farming and meanwhile killing a few monsters; or runecrafting, and doing other things each trip too-->there's a great guide about what others things to do in a run than only running for rc)

Annd I almost forgot: try to raise stats who get you money first: after that it's enjoyable to speedtrain other stats with that money.

Get a min skill level, meaning no skill is under a sertain level. I'd start off with about 30 which can be done in a day (each skill takes a day) then get 40 (about two days per skill) then 50 ect. Getting all skills min. to 60 is pretty good, it means you spend about a week or more on each skill and there at a decent level.

Another tip (along with what said above) would be get the three 'easy' 99's, Fletching, firemaking, cooking. Those would help your total alot, also maybe get 80 combact skills (Attack Defence range magic ect.) All that would get you a nice total of 1800+ or so, which is pretty good.

well u kinda gotta estimate, for example, cooking is probably faster at lvl 80 than prayer is at 40(if u kill then buyr bones), so id suggest going with the faster lvls such as cooking and fletching, and when u see lvling getting pretty slow with those, then start going to lower lvl skills

basically u want to be spending same amount of time to get 1 lvl in any given skill(5 hours for 50-51 prayer, 6 hours for 80-81 fletching, then do prayer)

Total level generally goes fastest on the lowest skill, since unless the increasing level gap at higher levels is compensated by higher xp capabilities, progress slows from one level per load, to one level every few loads, to one level once in a blue moon.

The counter to that, is that some skills are easir to train, some are less irritating to train, some are cheaper to train, though other may be trained fast but expensively.

If you want overall level, it's ok to have a favourite skill, but keeping the others at a reasonable plateau contributes more levels than your favourite.
