Tigra00
I don't mean to sound like a jerk to the OP (well, his dad, rather) but your dad really needs to learn to drive, or something. Swearving out of the way for an animal is 1 part light-braking, 1 part slight wheel-turning and 2 parts hoping for the best. Looks like your dad did 4 parts of wheel turning and plowed right into the ditch, lol. I had to dodge 2 animals two nights ago (A bird and a racoon...My date thought it was the sweetest thing she's ever saw, so I guess it was worth it not pwning a 'coon, eh?) and they were really easy to avoid, even when I was going like 65. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
deloriagod
I reckon it's safe to say that you would have just run over the racoon if there was another car coming in the other direction, yes? I think anyone would.. And most of us wouldn't bother to swerve if there wasn't any traffic coming. My car rides fairly low but I'd run that thing over in a heartbeat to keep from trashing my car. I've almost ran over multiple animals while I was driving.. Once a rabbit that jumped in front of my car (didn't bother to brake, just kept going), a bird who barely flew off before I could run him over, and a cat which I braked for because I didn't want a dent in my front bumper.. Satenza
What value for life you have. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
