~Training Farming From Level 65-99~

Featured Replies

~What's the best way to go about this. Money is not important; as long as i lose less than 100M or so, i can make it back.~

~Thanks~

~Yeah, obviously i'll buy Yews, Magics, Calquats, Palms, and Papayas. Can you give me the prices on those? Like the average price, and a good price for each seed.~

~Should i do Watermelons, even though they give like 50 exp each? Price?~

~Should i do Herbs? Prices?~

You might as well plant herbs while your trees grow for extra exp, and you can earn some money back. I would have higher farming I just never have seeds

If you grow herbs while you grow trees, you can easily recoup the cost of the tree seeds, plus a lot more if you take it all the way up to 99.

I like to grow watermelons if I have the seeds handy, because you can sometimes get 25+ in a harvest. In a run, you can get an extra 5k or so farming exp by planting watermelons. Add in the 3-5k you get per run growing higher level herbs, and you are getting an extra 8-10k xp for the 10 minutes or so a farming run takes. The only downside to planting watermelons is that they have huge harvests, and you have to either drop a bunch of them, or stop in the middle of harvesting to bank them. I like to bank them at c wars, they come in handy as payment for jangerberry bushes and pineapple trees.

Speaking of bushes, you should consider growing whiteberry and poison ivy bushes. You won't get a ton of exp, about 2k per run, but the berries you get will go well with the cadantine you grow, and the poison ivy will come in handy if you get your herblore up high enough.

~I'm 96 Herblore already =).~

Get your seeds from Miscellenia. Manage a kingdom and take maple @ 100% and teak as the rest. Every 3 days, you can get 27 or so nests. These are better than Wydin's nests, as they don't contain allotment seeds.

~I just want to do it fast. I already have ~100M set aside for this Skill alone. I have 4000+ Crushed Nests, by the way =).~

It will take approximately 1700 yew trees, which comes out to about 136m if you figure 80k per seed. Once you get to level 75, which will take around 100 yew seeds, you could switch to magic seeds. It would take half the time, around 860 magic seeds. But those will cost you around 150 mil or so. So if you want to do it as fast as possible, I'm afraid 100 mil won't be enough.

I would just use the highest of each seed. Mages,Palms,Calquats, etc. As that would cost lots of money you could plant snaps while you wait. I am a bit low on money so I just rotate:

200 Snap seeds,100 papayas,125 maples.

200 Snaps

200 Snap seeds,100 papayas,125 maples.

It'll take a little while longer but at least I'm not losing my whole bank. Good luck on your goal. Hopefully we both will have the level later on.

As for the prices, I would just search around forums. They can vary a lot depending on how many of each.
