a way to stop *some* autoers

Featured Replies

As I have researched some of the more advanced bots (SCAR), the autoer works by colors. So if you change the color of a tree or rock randomly at any time(just a tint change) the whole autoer would stop. I realise this would cause some lags but, any I want to stop these autoers!

sounds intresting but it might work would be kinda hard to do unlike just making mosters to get out the macroes

do you mean random events? if u do some macros have random protection and things like that but with this i would be impossible to program 1 million shades of brown black for coal

SCAR isn't a bot, it's a scriptable color clicker. I don't think these programs are the real problem. Second, it wouldn't be too hard to take up the most common colors and make the script for look after them and the word "yew tree" or something.

I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.

But at least it wouldn't hurt innocent skillers.

Bots can easilly flee from muggers/monsters ect. If Jagex put these monsters around every resource; then the bots would reprogram to do some combat training before they go get resources. Then, all those monsters would just be killing innocent skillers and newbs.

His idea, on the whole, sounds way better than yours in my opinion. Though it would waste alot of server space and ultimately the color reading botters would switch over to the mainstream bot programs which read the script directly (i think). So either way, it ends up as a temporay fix.

We tried using an abyssal whip to 'suggest' they work faster

If you "researched" about SCAR, you should know that scripts can be made to configure a colour range. If you don't already know, Jagex IS already doing this "colour change" thing. The result: nothing.

I thought the screen changes color once awhile?
