May 28, 200719 yr Wouldn't it be nice if there were two different colors for items that are on the ground? Use a color that isn't in use now (blue, purple, grey, I don't care what) to identify objects that only YOU can see. Like once you've killed a monster, the items on the little world screen show as blue, until everybody can see them. That way you know when the items come available for anybody to pick up. Sorry if this has been suggested, but I couldn't find it with a seach. Anybody with any thoughts? Support list: Lord-kain1 Madmax410 unkn0wnwarrior dude_of_war4

Ever. Quit RuneScape :)
May 28, 200719 yr Who even looks at the mini-map after a monster drop, you should pick it up. danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât
May 28, 200719 yr i can see a perfectly good use for this, specificly arrows. if your killing a monster with range and it has a lotta hp and takes a while you might want to know when your arrows start popping up where others can see them, especialy if theres an arrow thief near by. LK1 ps useless update = wildy ditch while this idea actully has merit this random comment brought to you today by ADD: ADD, bringing random entertainment to all for generations
May 28, 200719 yr Author erkid"]Blue is used and that's a pretty useless update... I've seen no one that's had problems with this. Ever. Like I said, whatever color, I don't care. Some color that isn't already used. As for having "seen no one that's had problems with this. Ever" doesn't mean that there aren't people out there that wouldn't like to see it happen. You're not the centre of the universe, like you may or may not think. There are probably people that you have never met... i can see a perfectly good use for this, specificly arrows. if your killing a monster with range and it has a lotta hp and takes a while you might want to know when your arrows start popping up where others can see them, especialy if theres an arrow thief near by. LK1 ps useless update = wildy ditch while this idea actully has merit Good argument for. Especially if you're using higher level arrows, like Mith or Addy.
May 28, 200719 yr Definetly good for rangers when they dont wanna lose their arrows. The ogres at the combat training camp often has alot of clutter, and it would help to see if I got a new drop
May 28, 200719 yr the problem I see is if theres a lot of dots. would they be stacking? for example, what if you take a red dot item instead of a [insert your color here] item, especially if people are ranging
May 28, 200719 yr Author the problem I see is if theres a lot of dots. would they be stacking? for example, what if you take a red dot item instead of a [insert your color here] item, especially if people are ranging I understand what you are saying, but it is already like that. Red stacks ontop of red, so you only see one red dot, even though there are bones, arrows, coins, ashes and a bronze dagger sitting there, from 2 different monsters, and 3 different rangers (just an example people). The color dot (that only you can see) that represents recent dropped items from yourself or a monster, would default to be ontop of the red of other items, that can be seen by anybody, for only you. Everybody else would only see the red dot of items that they can see.
May 29, 200719 yr ps useless update = wildy ditch while this idea actully has meritI must disagree. The wilderness ditch was not useless. As for this idea, I would like it, since when I range I also range any random events I get.

May 29, 200719 yr Jagex has bigger things to worry about than if your arrows are safe or not. besides, blue is used as a clan cape...im f2p and i knew that  Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. As for the color, like I said, I really don't care, I have just never seen a blue dot on the screen before (since I am f2p), so I suggested it, along with some other colors. Make it plaid for all I care, after all, it is just a colored dot.
