But this will combine the skill goal calc and the skill planners. Only mining is being done so far, and I'll try to make it P2P friendly as well. (I'm F2P.) I'll gladly submit it to whatever virus scans or whatever, but this thing will take a bit to finish coding. Plus, you need to either ask the permission of tip.it or Jagex to use those images - I don't know Jagex's policy, but if you're taking them directly from tip.it and tip.it have modified them you need to ask permission. Did you not think that tip.it, as the largest and oldest fansite, might have sought permission directly from Jagex? What's more, they may not be from the runescape website - they may be captures from the client. Mercifull Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Its nice to offer it to tipit but no offence I highly doubt they will accept it. tipit already have a team of people skilled enough to do their own but choose not to due to the security implications of a downloadable executable. It is much safer to provide everything online for free than worry about virus or key logger infection. If you are just using it for yourself then noone is going to know that you have used Tipits images and you could probably get away with fair use so long as you distributed it. But as soon as you start letting other people use it, download it or share it then you are likely to be breaking fair use laws and cross the line into copyright abuse.
