Rares

Featured Replies

I'm not a master on the subject, so I'm asking for some help.

I'm managed to bring my life saving up to about 8 Mil, and I was thinking of investing in a cheap rare, either Easter or pumpkin.

I've heard that prices are going sideways, so I'm not sure on what I should do.

General RS knowledge says rares go up, but would they go up enough to make this worthwhile?

Keep in mind that I use skills to make money, and don't merchant, therefore saying that going up around 500k a month would be great.

Thanks!

Overall, it would be a good investment. Rares are kinda blah now, but sooner or later they'll go up again.

But I'm not a master, either, so I could be a bit off. But it seems like common sense to me.

8m? Buy full gutans and AFK your stats up and then barrow, it's a lot more stable than hoping your egg goes up.

My question wasn't what should I do with 8 Mil, it was would a Easter/pumpkin be a good investment. Besides, I'm not training combat for a while, and when I do, I do slayer.

In my opinion they really wouldnt be a good invesment. A Green Mask and up would be a good invesment anything below i'm not sure really....So IMO i would say save up a little longer.

I suggest to save for a wearable rare. They are good investments. The prices are going sideways at the moment, but I feel that they will rise once summer holidays begins. I believe this because everyone will be out of school, which will increase the amount of players. Meaning an increase in the number of players that want rares. Buy a wearable rare as soon as you can. Possibly merchant with your current 8M?

I second that. Problem is, summer is already at hand, meaning more people online already. You're gonna need to buy a rare soon if you want the price to go up.

Oh, and over the course of a year, the price will almost definitely go up. Think about it: there are more players that want a rare, but the same number of rares.

better suggestion than that:

If you are a member, merchant mud battlestaffs (or, if very clever, buy mud battlestaff, turn to mystic mud staff in seers and sell for 300k more (260k profit)

rares are always a good investment. even if they go down because of a big dupe, they will go back up with time. its just how much time you want to give will determine your profits.

Your encouraging him to break rules and get banned... AFK training is illegal. I personally don't like rares, but if you wanna get one I'd go with an easter egg, they probably get rarer slowly (who knows how many easter eggs are eaten every year  )

I know the method well, and I wouldn't afk train there. Maybe read a book or something at my computer. And thats another vote for an Easter. I hope I don't eat mine. :)

You only afk train when you have to do homework, wanna play xbox or go eat dinner for 30 mins, it's not something you leave on over night...
