Has anybody here seen this film? I recently watched it on dvd and thought it was pretty awesome. It has a good morale etc and is good for action, here is the imdb link to it, to either jog your memory or entice you into it

well it has 8/10 on imdb, i didnt really feel bad as I personally dont buy diamonds :-s

I was much more angry at the movie back then than I am now, but I still don't like it

A little over the top but overall I thought it was good.

if its a mix of Hotel Rwana and Black Hawk Down it should be good, cause those movies are really good.

 

 

 

Its not a bad movie, the point is clear, action pretty good, suspense is there, its sad, and happy, moving, informative. Not breakthrough outstanding, not as good as BHD or Rwanda, but its defintely a movie worth atleast seeing once.

I'm not sure, I prefered it to BHD, I could appeal to this film more- BHD didn't really have a storyline and was typically pro-American, I didn't get that impression as much in blood diamond.

How can you be angry at it? You're telling me you don't have sympathy for these kinds of things which actually did/ still do happen in the world, you're telling me you don't even care because I think thats pretty ignorant...like denying the holocaust.

This movie got a lot of kudos, but I'm really not sure why... it was barely touching and didn't show anything new or "shocking" as the critics put it.

 

 

 

It wasn't a bad movie or anything, just no where near as good as the critics pretend it is.

But blood diamond is a decent film.

I thought it was very good. They did a nice job actually portraying how it is. If you think that's "made up" how wrong you are. People do get killed over this bull [cabbage], and it does make a nice story.

 

 

 

Another good movie is the Last King of Scotland which I have a personal connection to.

I have seen it, It was an fantastic film, it was alittle different then the other stuff out at the time, It had a good plot and well acted I would give it a 9/10
