Goobore
What's fastest to get? 2,201 yews 5,705 willows Probably Willows. You can drop the willow logs and the ground and not feel bad. But, the Yews you would want to bank, that will slow you down. Plus, there are a lot more willows available to cut. Try the area south of Rimmington. Hope this helps

Ryuuka
yews are the fastest xp in the game BUT if you need cash then do yews Played since February 200113th to 30 huntingfiremaking cape achieved 6th August 2008_-_-_-_Quest cape achieved 19th August 2009
Goobore
yews are the fastest xp in the game... per log cut, they are better than willow (but less than magic) but it takes longer per log than willows. That, and the time it takes to walk to the bank with all of those nice logs makes it slower, overall, than willows. Willow logs you could just drop on the ground. Hope this helps
Goobore
Sorry if this is thread stealing but i have the same question... Keep in mind that this sort of question you can kinda answer yourself with a little timed experiment. Note your WC exp and then time how long it takes to cut and bank a full load of logs from each kind of tree. Note your ending exp. Then compute an average exp per minute as (Finalexp-Startexp)/time 'Course, don't include banking time for willows until you really plan to keep them. Players that respond to these kinds of posts don't always agree on the same answer... :? Hope this helps
Foodfight13
At level 64, cut willows. If you are a member, cut maples. At level 68, cut maples if possible for a few more levels. Then yews are good for 70+. -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. Goobore
Yews are the fastest experience in the game, If you want levels, Do willows~ Why do you say to "Do willows" when you also say "Yews are the fastest experience in the game"? (What happened to magic trees?) Also, the op has level 64 wc and you have level 85. Do you think that your rate of earning WC exp with Yews would be the same as his at only level 64? Just wondering...
Ashlyn_Hart
I would cut willows myself. Yews take way too long. And as far as banking the willows go, I chop them in catherby (right next to the bank). I then use the willows for firemaking experience. I agree with the previous poster: If you want to make levels, do willows. I'm a married mother that plays RuneScape. Got a problem with that? R_2_H
Willows are the fastest in the game and are the best experience till 99 woodcutting. Maples, yews, and magics never become faster. The ULTIMATE Runescape weapon
crosse1991
Cut willow in draynor, the bank is right next to you and a lot of willow trees. I am a proud owner of Rabbit Ears.87 combat{}70 Att, 73 Str, 72 Hp, 70 Defence
aquariusman
Cut willows. If you are members, I have no clue where to cut them. If you are F2P, cut them in either Rimmington or Draynor. If you're at draynor, you'll have quite a bit of competition, but you can bank the willows. Rimmington has extremely low competition, but you can only sell to general store for 4gp each. Although that does add up if you're trying to cut alot of logs, it is only about a fifth to eigth of what you could get selling to other players. If you want to get firemaking experience AFTER you've got your woodcutting goal, go for Draynor, but if you plan on cut & burning, go for Rimmington. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
