June 5, 200719 yr yes, you get them from the culimancer's chest, though they are untradeable and they arn't called dragon gloves, they just are infered that they are. (must have done all miniquests of rfd, but not beat bosses, to buy)
June 5, 200719 yr They're also uncommon because usually, when you can get to dragon gloves, you can get to the barrow gloves in a matter of days, if not hours. So its not worth buying them. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

June 6, 200719 yr Yeah i use dragon gloves because I don't have the 175 quest points to finish the quest, basically the only difference between them and barrow gloves is that there stats give all +9 and barrows are all +12.
June 6, 200719 yr Barrow gloves are +6 to magic attack/defense, but otherwise are +12. Black as midnight, Black as pitch, Blacker than the foulest Witch.

June 8, 200719 yr As far as I'm aware, you only need to complete Recipe for Disaster. If you've rescued all of the people in the banquet hall, then you unlock the "Dragon" Gloves. Once you've defeated the Culinaromancer and finish the quest, then you unlock the "Barrows" Gloves. You can buy these gloves from the Culinaromancer's chest.
