I didn't shade the wings on the picture, 'cause they would basically just be pitch black. It was originally going to be a female verison of a black demon, but they don't really look very human and they don't have hair I'm pretty sure :P The shading is really dodgy beacuse I only used a hb pencil, so the range wasn't exactly that good.

The vein effect was just an almost transparent purle brush. Very thin, then i just made it look veiny :P And yea, when you ink it, itll look nice. Cant wait to see YOUR finished product.

My only critique is that the final pencil shading loses the softness somehow of the second version. I think inking might be better, or leave it with just the line work.

Thanks for he comments, though. I think the sketchyness of the picture starts when I started shading, I rarely do shading on my anime pictures ..this is my second one so far). Also, my scanner catches things really badly and makes the quality really dodgy x.x But I can live with that XD

Very nice piece of line art you have there! =) However I personally don't like the idea of horns on the girl like that; it somehow doesn't fit her very well for some inexplicable reason. Also, IMHO, a demonette would be carrying a nice big scythe or trident, not some dinky little spear :P. But i'm just nitpicking XD. Overall, excellent work!

my advise is to make more use of the airbrush and less of the burn &dodge tool, work witht he eyes a bit and the lines seem to have.. well they look weird now.. im guessing attempt to color outlines?

 

 

 

try working with the eyes abit more.. they seem blank
