June 6, 200719 yr I saw something on you tube with a pure doing Desert Treasure with his friend. Before and during each boss fight the friend would run around and drop sharks. The pure would pick up and eat these sharks during the fight. Is this allowed? It seems like a great way to survive in those fights.
June 6, 200719 yr sure its allowed. drop trading is excellent for when you're in a place with agressive monsters and normal trading won't work. It's only against the rules when you drop trade between your own accounts. Proud owner of a Quest cape!
June 6, 200719 yr Just tell the mods that your friend was helping you when you get caught. They won't even detect it i think, it's too minor.
June 6, 200719 yr No rules against having RS friends No rules against dropping stuff No rules against picking stuff up Good technique though : Don't follow me. You might not make it.All your accounts are belong to us now.If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator
June 6, 200719 yr No rules against having RS friends No rules against dropping stuff No rules against picking stuff up Good technique though : Not true. Its against the rules if you drop something just to log on another account to pick it up. So there is a rule against the last 2, BUT the thing this topic is about is totally legal And the guy who posted this topic. Can u send me the link wither pm or here. I am wondering why they would ahve to do so unless the guy whos doing DT is really weak. I mean even if he has not got prayer the freind can block the enemies which will make it quite easy:/ hmm i dunno? Check my 99/99 magic - 99/99 ranged 88 hp - 71 combat blog!
June 6, 200719 yr It is permitted, it is only considered illegal if you are dropping trading from one account to another, from the same computer and to the same owner. Runescaper since June 2005Blog
June 6, 200719 yr I mean even if he has not got prayer the freind can block the enemies which will make it quite easy:/ hmm i dunno? I think it would be most likely relating to the smoke diamond (the fire boss, not sure of name). Before a friend could just stand in between and blast away safely, Jagex took that out a few months back (when i was doing it). So the boss just goes straight through your friend now. The new technique now is to snare/entangle and water blast/wave. If i remember the fire boss hits 34 - 36.... so a bag of food might not be enough. June 8, 200719 yr then again, if you can't do DT on your own, you should just stay the heck away from it :boohoo:
June 8, 200719 yr Yep, it is legal since it is not between two of your accounts. (Sorry to be yet another echo :) ) Cieco mondo...cieco mondo
