June 13, 200719 yr Well i made a staker but i got a problem.... how do people pass desert treasure without prayer? I heard theres a safespot with the shadow guy.. damis i think his name was.. where you hide behind the torch but what about all the other characters?? Should i snare the bosses so they cant fight with melee??
June 13, 200719 yr Unfortunately the torch safe-spot to fight Damis (Shadow guy) has been removed for quite a while. I'm not sure how long ago it's been removed (maybe years :? ) but you'll have to try something else, especially with no prayer. I've read on other forum posts that people have asked friends to stand between them and Damis to act as a "meat shield". I'm not sure if this works since I never tried this method nor has a friend asked me to stand in as a meat shield. Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens98% of people have signatures with made up statistics in them. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, copy this and add it to your signature.
June 13, 200719 yr I saw a video of it, the guy had 1 prayer AND 1 defence. Just bring a friend with you to grab your stuff, because you will probably die most times. Wear only tradable items, so your friend can get them. When you start the fights, your friend should start dropping sharks for you, you'll need them. In Soviet Russia, glass eats OTers. June 14, 200719 yr Author after wacthing a few videos i decided to use a cannon, and if anyone knows if the meat shield still works can they please tell me :mrgreen:
June 14, 200719 yr :? Someone once posted the shield can only work if hes or she(friend)is facing the npcs face. Then he wont attack you.
