June 16, 200719 yr I don't think there's anything wrong with Serbs. They're Slavs, therefore they are totally awesome in my mind (guess why). The Serbian Army DID commit atrocities during the 90s, you can't lie about that. However, Serbs as a people didn't deserve the treatment they got following the war. the russians are the best! Hands down!

June 16, 200719 yr Some of the war crimes committed by Slobodan Milosevic are almost unforgiveable, the brutal bombings of the Croatian cities of Vukovar and Dubrovnik and the 'ethnic cleansing' of towns in Bosnia-Herzegovina was a particularly chilling episode. However, there were also many, many honourable Serbs who defended Sarajevo during the siege. Of course, it's not as simple as 'all Serbs are good' and 'all Serbs are bad'. I think they are many good Serbs and many bad, just as there are with any nationality. But that doesn't make me have any kind of prejudice against them. June 18, 200719 yr I think we can all agree that the war has been very traumatic for all the parties involved, with gruesome atrocities on all sides of the conflict. It still makes most Europeans (who can remember) shudder to think of it and it's still a very delicate and dark episode in the history books of the UN. The fact that the conflict still isn't really resolved and keeps on brewing, doesn't help much either in gaining the trust of Europe and the rest of the world.
