June 25, 200719 yr Usually when I was younger, I would always get on games and play them solo, even if it was a MMORPG. Multiplay is always fun, like Guild Wars. I would play the role as a monk because I loved the support role. Helping others was always what I was into. However as of late.. I find it extreemly difficult to sit down and enjoy singleplayer games and also multiplayer games when my friends are not on. Usually I find myself thinking "what do I do next" on the game.. and eventually log off because i'm very bored. Do you think something is wrong with me for feeling this way? I personally believe its because I moved out of my old town to here. All my friends I knew have either moved out as well to a different location, or back in my old town. I'm way up here in North Dallas, and I gotta say its really lonely. Ever since I was like 5, I played video games hard core in almost every spare time I had. Now I feel like I just wasted my life. I don't want to give up video games, and also I want to make a career out of it.. but i'm extreemly unsure if I ever want to go that route because its not so satisifying anymore. I think though that this is probably due to a lack of being social in real life. And to be honest, if I ever gave up video games, it would be like starting life from scratch again.. I have no idea what I would want to be.. Any advice? I would appreciate it.. :| ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
June 25, 200719 yr When I read your title I didn't think of video games at all :P Anyway, maybe try playing some different genres that you mightn't of played much before. Try some new games and maybe that might ignite your love of video games. If not, just take a break and come back later, normally it's more appealing if you've been away from it. June 25, 200719 yr Video Games don't satisfy you? You're lucky. Now you can do anything you want in real life, without being addicted to computer games. A lot of people would be happy if they were in your state. :) Don't force it man. Another step would be to break the addiction to multiplayer games too eh
