I'll get right to it: Dragon Sq Shield vs. Obsidian Shield vs. Rune Defender This is, of course, until I get the new and awesome Dragonfire Shield. Dragon Sq Shield has the best armor, while Rune Defender has the best offensive stats. Obsidian Shield is a little of both. Dragon Sq Shield shows you beat Legends Quest, which I think is pretty cool. Warrior Ring vs. Berserker Ring The only weapons I use are Abyssal Whip and Dragon Scimitar. This means the Warrior Ring's bonuses would come in handy. Berserker Ring, on the other hand, gives strength bonus, which helps me hit higher. Pest Control vs. Salve Amulet vs. Experiments vs. Rock Crabs I'm planning on being a staker, so with PC, I'll give half my points to HP and half to the stat I'm raising. Salve Amulet raises strength vs. undead, so I would train on skeletons. Experiments and Rock Crabs are almost identical, so I don't know the differences. This is training to 70/70/70 atk/str/def. Dragon Scimitar vs. Dragon Longsword HEHE. Which one for training to 70/70/70 atk/str/def??? Please reply with at least one answer to at least one comparison. Leave reasons as to why. Obsidian Shield In my eyes the best out of the three as it has a great defence bonus and a small strength bonus. Rune Defender Good for pking and killing low level monsters not good against monsters which hit hard/often. Warrior Ring vs. Berserker Ring I have no experience of these so I cant help here. Pest Control Fast exp if you can find a clan, I recommend it if you need the levels and dont need any drops. Salve Amulet Great for the monsters which it gives the bonus on otherwise a glory is better. Experiments Good ratio (hp:lvl), but they lack drops. Rock Crabs Good ratio (hp:lvl), with some ok drops. Dragon Scimitar vs. Dragon Longsword Dragon scimmy as it hits faster meaning faster exp My perfrence; Obsidian Shield Berserker Ring D Scimmy. Hope I helped a little. If your going to be training at pc, rock crabs, or experiments rune defender all the way. It has the strength bonus of the obby sheild and some nice offensive stats. Personally, I use a d long for strenget training as it has better stats and a better special, but d scimmy is good too as its faster. I would never go with an obsidian shield as the dragon square has much better stats. So against a higher lvled monster, d sq., against a low lvl monster, rune defender. Warrior Ring vs. Berserker Ring This also depends. For cost alone, i would go with the warrior ring. I also suggest using the calculator to see if the +4(?) bonus from the berserker ring would raise your max. If it does not, then the warrior ring all the way. Pest Control vs. Salve Amulet vs. Experiments vs. Rock Crabs Seeing as how i am against PC, i would have to say salve amulet. Once you find a really good monster (lvl 45 skellies near elvarg are good) the xp can come in very fast. Experiments/ rock crabs are crowded and dont have too many good drps. I would go with the salve ammy. Dragon Scimitar vs. Dragon Longsword Dragon scimitar all the way. It hits faster, and the small str bonus that the D Long has is made up by the speed. A extra hit for each 10 monsters you kill? I personally use the Salve Ammy against Ankous at the Stronghold of Security or Skeletons in the Desert Treasure cave near the Waterfall. I never use Pest Control to train. I use to kill Experiments when I was 70-80. Scimitar clearly wins against the Longsword, but bring a DDS just for specials. Need help or advise? Have a question? underu2000 Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Overall usefulness, the obby shield by far. Rune defender is a little less flexible, but also useful; albeit not as easy to get. Honestly, the dragon square has little use other than showing off with (expensive and hard to obtain), so dont bother with much fighting with it. Bersker ring > warrior ring, altho theyre both useful. But strength bonuses are harder to come by, so if u can afford it, get the berserker. Ur choice here determines ur first decision. If its rock crabs/experiments,/ undead, get a rune defender. PC would require a shield i believe. But i dunno which wud be most effective. I dont see any benefit a dragon long gives that a scimmy doesnt have. Go for the scimmy. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
