June 25, 200719 yr This is actually the idea of durtraiku, posted with permission. This is the theory: What gems you get as a reward from the Pinball minigame depend on what post you tag first. If this is the case, we could be pulling whatever gems we want from a random event. The way the theory works: Tagging the Air Rune Post first gives you diamonds. Tagging the Fire Rune Post first gives you rubies. Tagging the Nature Rune Post first gives you emeralds. Tagging the Water Rune Post first gives you sapphires. Tagging the Earth Rune Post first gives you ??? Now, I don't know if this works for sure or not, but we may be on to something. Results so far: Durt's tests: Nature Post : 5 emeralds Water Post : 5 sapphires Water Post : 3 sapphires Water Post : 4 sapphires My own tests: Air post : 3 diamonds 1st post clicked was earth. ended with rubies. Please post your own results as well, so we can see if our theory is valid. This is only a theory. Don't flame us if it doesn't work. June 30, 200719 yr Wow this is an awesome discovery if this theory actually proves to be true. I just had a pinball random while runecrafting yesterday. I tagged the fire one first and received 5 rubies. I'll try to tag the air one next if I ever get the random event again and see if I get diamonds. I wonder if this is just some bug or if jagex is secretly rewarding us for not autoing? Think about it, you can control which pillar you tag first, all you have to do is wait for it to dissapear on one you don't want, I don't think there is an autoing program that can do that. By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .
