I'm not sure about completing the quest in order to wear the armor though since I saved up and bought both of them after completing the quest. Off-topic: Do you all think it's rather "noob-ish" of me to be still using my Rune platebody that I bought after Dragon Slayer, even though it's been around 6 to 7 months since I've completed that quest? skeroh Posted June 25, 2007 Share Posted June 25, 2007 I think you do have to have Dragon Slayer done to wear other dhide bodies, because i remember my friend telling me that he couldn't wear his. but i could be wrong. and celestrana, wearing a rune plate is fine. If you can't afford d chain or anything else, its alright. rune plate has pretty good stats, and its not noobish Retired from runescape. Wearing a Rune Platebody is very effective protection for training. Doomster Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Full rune may be the best melee armour in F2P, but it's still an excellent value melee armour in members. When I finally do it, first priority will be a dragon weapon, rather than better armour, so training-level monsters can be defeated faster. Aka_Chao Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 ACTUALLY I have a tank 84 range, 40 defence blah blah and i have not done dragon slayer and i can still wear a blue, red and black d hide body. It is only for the green. Hope this helped Someone I know of had a dolphin tattooed on her chest. She got fat and the dolphin turned into a whale...
