What is it?

 

 

 

The Ancient Magicks are a collection of 20 new spells that you can use after you have completed the Desert Treasure Quest. Sadly, they are not added to your spell list, it is a separate spell list and you have to go out of your way to switch them around. The only way you can switch them is by praying at the alter inside the pyramid where you completed the quest. It IS members only.

 

 

 

The Staff

 

 

 

 

 

 

The staff can be purchased from Eblis after you finish the quest for 80k.

 

 

 

IMPORTANT: You can only buy one staff, if you loose you have to buy one off another player, and currently the prices are 100k-120k.

 

 

 

The staff has the same stats as a mystic staff except it gives + 15 to magic and it is the only staff that can auto cast Ancients

 

 

 

The Spells

 

 

 

Rush- Does high damage

 

Burst- Does high damage and hit all enemies in a 3x3 square.

 

Blitz- Does very high damage

 

Barrage- Does very high damage and hit all enemies in a 3x3 square.

 

 

 

 

Smoke Spells- Can poison your enemies.

 

 

 

 

Shadow Spells- Lowers your enemies attack.

 

 

 

 

Blood Spells- These take your opponents health and add 25% of your damage to your health.

 

 

 

 

Ice Spells- Freezes your target.

 

 

 

 

Teleport- Teleports you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Paddewwa Home Teleport- Teleports to Edgeville and takes 30 minutes to recharge - You cannot use this spell when in combat.

 

 

 

50 Smoke Rush- A single target smoke attack.

 

 

 

52 Shadow Rush- A single target shadow attack.

 

 

 

54 Paddewwa Teleport- A teleportation spell to Edgeville Dungeon

 

 

 

56 Blood Rush- A single target blood attack.

 

 

 

58 Ice Rush- A single target ice attack.

 

 

 

60 Senntisten Teleport- A teleportation spell to the Digsite.

 

 

 

62 Smoke Burst- A multi-target smoke attack.

 

 

 

64 Shadow Burst- A multi-target shadow attack.

 

 

 

66 Kharyrll Teleport- A teleportation spell to Canifis.

 

 

 

68 Blood Burst- A multi-target blood attack.

 

 

 

70 Ice Burst- A multi-target ice attack.

90 Annakarl Teleport- A teleportation spell to the Demonic Ruins (Level 46 Wilderness).

96 Ghorrock Teleport- A teleportation spell to the Frozen Waste Plateau (Level 45 Wilderness).

 

 

 

Tips & Tricks

 

 

 

Lassar Teleport can be used to teleport near the body altar for quick rc exp.

 

 

 

Blood Spells can be used to heal, particularly in a multi combat zone. You can heal up to 25 hp with one spell if you have around 5 targets near by.

 

 

 

Ice Spells can just keep getting casted and your opponent will never touch you unless they are a mage or ranger.

 

 

Q & A

 

 

Q: Can I use the staff before I have completed the quest?

 

A: No, you cannot.

 

 

 

Q: Can you use the spells without the staff?

 

A: Yes, but the staff gives great bonuses.

 

 

 

Q: How do I switch spell books?

 

A: Pray at the altar in the pyramid.

As Muggi said, Tip.It already has a well written guide on the website.

 

 

 

As for constructive criticism, you should add more ways to get there (i.e Camulet, Pharaohs' Scepter(sp?), or just plain using carpets to get near there and run. Also for your "Tips & Tricks" i disagree on the 3rd statement because after your opponent is frozen after the time allotted they become invulnerable to binding spells for a few seconds, as in run in and rip you with dds.

This guide is sadly light as every one else said this infomation can be

 

obtained in the ancient magiks tip.it guide. However you can still fix it

 

- supply maps of where the teleport spells direct you to

 

- Show pictures for each HP draining spell

 

- Ancient Magiks is a pking method which is very effective used with

 

magic long , explain about pking with ancients and how it can be done

 

-link/guide on how to do the quest for ancient magiks (desert treasure)

this guide does not add anything new to the guide on the tip.it site. Sorry, to say this, but it really looks like you just took the tip.it guide, shuffled it a bit and put your name above it.

 

 

 

How about you describe ways of training magic using the ancient spell list? Describe to uses for ancients, describe why would anyone want to use ancients over the classic spell list? Go into more detail about the uses for the 4 different types (ice, blood, shadow, smoke) spells, for example when to use which one.

First off, why in the world would you waste ess crafting body's? Its true, but noones actully gnna do that. Its also Paddawa Tele, thats edgy dongeon. Lessar ice mountain.

 

 

 

Second. The chances of getting 5 people in a square is very rare. Casting a multi target spell on the middle person DOES NOT guarentee the spell will even try to hit all of them, usually only 2 or 3.

 

 

 

Thirdly, the ice spells have a slight delay to casting, and do not "stack" up. After a ice spells holding efffect is gone, you won't be ablle to hold them on your next cast.

EDIT:DO you have other accts? Because 3 point man cud barely finish it with ur stats. And you cant even cast most of the spells. I suggest that you actully have experianced this, instead of reading the TIp.It guide, and putting it in your own words. Maybe, actully get the magic lvls and such before posting a guide on it. I just looked him up.

Add something new, like pictures of all the spells. Or detailed maps of were the teleports take you. Maybe include advice about training magic with ancients?

i was too impressed either (sorry) what u need i wanted to here was the fastest xp with ancients, what u think is best for staking, afew obstacle spots etc. All the subtleties and ins and outs of thnigns really. Ie when u shud barrage or blitz for what effect.
