I'm sorry, but have you met EVERY pure in Runescape? Until you have, then you can't say that all pures act a certain way because you've no logical basing upon which to do so. Runescape allows you to train/play as you wish, and simply because one person chooses not to raise their defense doesn't mean that they're morally corrupt. I'm pretty sure that if you'd get over your unfounded bias against pures that you'd learn that they're no different than any 'normal' player and can be quite pleasant.

i have never died to a pure. the only times i have even fought them was in duel arena, win every bout against pures there. and read my whole freaking post before flaming me! that was the first part! i was assuming!

Yes, I have met quite a few well-mannered pures. Simply because you haven't doesn't mean they don't exist. The way a person trains their character isn't going to determine their in-game behavior. In fact, you're more likely to run into a rude and immature impure than you are a pure, as there are far more impures than pures (Of course, no one really ever takes this into account).

 

 

 

Anywho, neither stereotypes nor generalizations are usually try, as they're usually oversimplified (Or overexaggerated) statements used to character most or all of a group when, in fact, it more adequately depicts only a small fraction.

 

 

 

If most/all pures are rude then most/all low levels are noobs, most/all high levels are no-lifers and most/all level 3's are macros.

 

 

 

The reason these people havent met well mannerd pures is that every time they meet the said pure, they treat them bad. If someone starts off treating you bad, then why should you not do the same.

 

 

 

Pures are 95% of the time good people. If half the people here met them on their mains they would be friends, but since they met them on pures they instantly thought lower of them.

wow, you really have no clue how regular people act do you? i'm friendly with anyone until they call me a noob for being lower leveled in something or being poor. i am not biased against pures, because i did not decide one day that they all sucked, every pure i met except for 2 have been downright rude to me, to the point where i would punch them if it was real life. thoose 2 i have met were in the wildy when i was watching fights. we had pleasant conversations about the pking triangle, and how it is completely off from the combat triangle. my mind was made by those rude people, not by me.

Nothing wrong with pures. I wish I had the time and patience to make one. I started making an f2p pure a while ago but for some reason thought it was a good idea to get him 10def.. now I have no idea what to do with him. I don't run into many pures my level and when I run into a pure lower level, it's funny cause they have about the same att and str as me with either like 1 or 45 def and I easily beat them.

 

 

 

I gotta say, I love watching pk vids of pures or seeing a pure pk someone else and spec 30's with their dagger at like lvl 80:p

The pures I have met and talk to are numerous ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ i.e. my list is full and 190 of them would be pures of one sort or another.

 

 

 

I am a 92 range 45 def ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâpureÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, and when I die I lose between 240-460k in items depending on whether I am cheap pking or expensive pking (with dstone bolts).

 

 

 

There are just as many 1 iteming mains out there as pures, and I would suggest that the majority of edgeville looters are not pures.

 

 

 

Your points are nonsensical and far too general. Drop trading between accounts happens, agreed. BUT many pures donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t drop trade either. It takes about 1 hour to get enough flax to build a pure to a decent level.

so you two think it and all of a sudden it's the common definition? i played 2 years ago with this same name, back then pures had 1 attack, 1 def, and either worked on str, mage, or range. if you had attack with str, everyone knew you were hybrid. if you had range and mage, you were hybrid. and if you ask around, it's still the same.

Read. Your definition of a Pure is WRONG. Go find a PURE(Low Defence, Trains Combat Stats) and ask them if they are Pure. They are going to say [shock]Yes[/shock].
