June 30, 200719 yr Hey guys, Tonight was the last in the series of doctor who, whether you watch/ed it or not. What are your thoughts on it? I think that it was a really good episode, a bit hard to understand, but thats doctor who for you :P So, what are your thoughts on tonights episode? P.S: Is the next series the last ever one?
July 1, 200719 yr Yeah it was funny when the doctor was old! Click for blog!Watch great videos! http://uk.youtube.com/profile?user=plod64
July 1, 200719 yr Never seen an episode of Dr. Who, but i was flickering through the channels and saw this one. Well when i say saw I watched for 5 minutes and laughed at the bad acting and the copy of Golumn from LOTR. A friend to all is a friend to none.
July 1, 200719 yr Author Never seen an episode of Dr. Who, but i was flickering through the channels and saw this one. Well when i say saw I watched for 5 minutes and laughed at the bad acting and the copy of Golumn from LOTR. That was the doctor 900 years old... ...yes...funny wasnt it?
July 1, 200719 yr It was err...odd, to say the least. It had some very good bits and some dodgy bits. Franky, i'm a bit tired of that Martha Jones character so I wasn't too upset when she semi-left at the end (although she might pop back). John Simms as the Master was fantastic, really sad to see him go, and David Tennant as the Doctor was brilliant as always so I wish we had seen a bit more of him in the episode. As for the plot, it was a bit patchy, some of the tie-ins were brilliant (i'm thinking the Face of Beau one) and although I didn't see the resolution coming it was kinda...well I don't know. Anyway, pretty good series overall, looking forward to the next one. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
July 2, 200719 yr My doctor who topic died  i can't believe they killed the master off like that... but what was that with his ring at the end. How did the titanic crash through the TARDIS wall? Does this mean the doctor is responsible for the deaths of hundreds? Before you read this interview, think about how cool it is to have people like Oscar on the site? What I mean, take a read =P
July 4, 200719 yr My favorite part was possibly the ending ;p "CRASH! *Foghorn* ...What? What? xD" It thankfully isn't the last in the series, and David Tennant is staying for the whole of the next series, we should expect to see some old villians, brought back, with refurbishments :P New Companion time! - Potential Spoilers! The Doctor's most recent companion is 23-year-old medical student Martha Jones, played by Freema Agyeman.[35] Martha leaves the TARDIS after the events of "Last of the Time Lords", the series 3 finale. The character will appear in three episodes of the spin-off series Torchwood before returning to Doctor Who halfway through the fourth series. A new companion will also appear in Series 4. A Christmas special, "Voyage of the Damned", will air in December 2007, with Kylie Minogue co-starring next to David Tennant. A fourth series has been commissioned and it is scheduled to air in 2008.[5] It was confirmed on the July 4, 2007 that Catherine Tate would be returning to Doctor Who in her role as Donna Noble from the 2006 Christmas Special as the Doctor's latest companion in the fourth series.
July 4, 200719 yr Sucks that Catherine Tate is the new companion. She was ok in the one off but shes an awful acress and her comedy is a real one trick pony. Big mistake by RTD. He should have cast the girl in Blink. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. He should have cast the girl in Blink. WHAT?!?!?!? God Catherine Tate was awful in that one off, but a whole series of her will be unbearable, especially in that role she played. At least David Tennant is good. Yeah, that girl from Blink was definitely companion material, in fact probably more so than any others I reckon. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
July 4, 200719 yr I loved the series. The Master was a superb character, I'll miss him. "Here comes the drum!!" Catherine Tate being the Doctor...hmm I'm not sure whether it's a good idea. The fact that its her means that I'll always think of her as a comedian and her teenage girl character catchphrase "Am I bothered?" etc. Oh well, Saturdays wont be the same :( Retired 8th October 2007 | 99 Fishing | 99 Cooking | Owner of a Red Mask and 2 Santa Hats |
July 4, 200719 yr Author My doctor who topic died  i can't believe they killed the master off like that... but what was that with his ring at the end. How did the titanic crash through the TARDIS wall? Does this mean the doctor is responsible for the deaths of hundreds? I was thinking that the TARDIS may of been the iceberg or something, but the titanic crashed staright on in the episode, where as it crashed side on in real life. Oh, and yes, catherine tate is sadly the new companion, and i will scream if she says "am I bovvered?"
July 5, 200719 yr Though the last episode was ok although it was kinda abit random way The Doctor was saved to me. Though it was clever with the broken part of the tardis so that they woulden't be noticed and Jack teleporter. Very clever tie in with the Face of Baue, which was very funny to think of him as that. Also was I the only one who though The Masters girl was attractive? I cant stand Catherine Tate in any of her work at all so I sould think that i will be watching Doctor Who even less than i do. Shame Prema(SP?) left as I though she was a good assiant and definant my favourite our of the 2 assistants.
