Featured Replies

i am aiming for lvl 70 in att, str, def and hp, and am only 60 in hp and def and 61 in att and str. can you vote on what is best to train

pest control:1

slayer:2

experiments:3

dragons:4

hill giants:5

rock crabs:6

put the number you think would be best to train at and put anything else that would be helpful, ty very much.

Pest control is fast exp.

Hill giants are good for big bones.

If you want to kill dragons, go kill baby blue dragons in Taverly dungeon.

Option 7, level 2 in the SoS

You earn normal melee exp as HitDone*4

The level of the monster really doesn't matter.

So, as long as you are killing constantly then you are doing well earning exp.

If you can find monsters that have a "weak" defense to your attack

then you can kill them quickly and efficiently.

"Every" hit will "count" and you can slaughter nonstop for hours at a time.

If you can find monsters that have a "weak" attack to your defense

then you won't need to stop to heal or make bank runs.

You won't need much, if any, food at all. You won't waste time with

restocking for more food.

If you can find a "small" room full of fast respawning, auto-attacking

monsters then you barely have to move at all to keep the exp rolling in.

Try the flesh crawlers in the SoS.

You could also try minotaurs or other monsters but the key idea

to remember is that it is the Hit that you do that earns you exp.

So you really want to be hitting constantly for good exp.

Since I'm a poor F2P player I really can't say much about the other choices.

But if you wanted big/dragon bones, or hides, or loot, or slayer exp, or etc

then another choice would work better for you.

Hope this helps

There is a MUCH better alternative. Try the bandits in the bandit camp in the desert and wear something that is Saradomin or Zamorak. They will auto attack you.

Yea, but they are a bit tough for mid-low levels.

If I have to vote at your level, my vote isn't on your list. I would just goto Moss Giants and reap in great experience and great drops at the same time. Sure you could goto rock crabs or experiments but it's going to be a shallow experience unless this isn't your first character in Runescape.

Same thing with Pest Control, you might be able to level at a decent rate with those stats (nothing spectacular though in experience per hour at that level) but again it's going to be a shallow experience.

I would suggest honestly though, getting Slayer assignments and leveling your combat that way. You will get a much greater reward then just the fastest possible experience (which would probably be either moss giants or experiments at your level), which is a greater feel for the world.

Whatever method you choose though as long as you enjoy it, then it's not the "wrong method". So add another vote for slayer, and good luck whatever way you go.

Edit: and +1 to above post, you will be having to run back to the bank for food to often for bandits to be really useful)
