I went to see Transformers and noticed a movie trailer that went like this:

 

 

 

people are partying, then an earthquake occurs and everyone runs to the roof, then there is an explosion, and everyone runs outside, and the trailer suddenly ends, giving a release date of something like 1/18/08?

 

 

 

It never says what movie it is and for some reason its just eating me up not knowing. If anybody has any info on this trailer or any thoughts on it please post.

I watched transformers monday night, and fell in love with that trailer 30 seconds into it.

 

It looked godzilla-y, but I think it will be a robot movie(based on the company name)

 

Either way, it's a must see for me.

this stuff has me pumped lol. the monster is referred to as "The parasite". I can't wait until more is released about this. It would be even cooler if they never said what the monster was up until the actual film is released, so you'd have to go and see the movie to find out what its all about. I can't think of any movie that has done anything like that before.

I thought that too, but put it down to low production values at this point given that it's a year from release?

Oh I hope not... if there's one thing American cinema does really really poorly with, it's Oriental remakes lol.

I went to "coming soon" section of IMDB.com and changed to Jan. '08. There's like (5) releases for 1/18/08 and that was the only one that fit your description.

yea, they are removing the trailer but as soon as one get's removed another pops up, so just search "cloverfield" (thats the codename for the project). that should give it to you. or cloverfield project. something like that.
