Hi guys! I haven't been here in a long time now...

 

 

 

To those who remember me, Hello!

The reason im posting again is because im in need of Pixel Sprite makers.

 

 

 

I am currently helping a group that wants to make a game. And to do that, they need artists and such.

 

 

 

Right now im apparently the only pixel artist on hand thats making sprites.

 

However, if I do it alone, its gonna take months if not years to finish the project.

 

 

 

 

 

So thats why im asking you guys if anyone here is interested in helping out in making some Car sprites, Character Sprites, Item Sprites, Backgrounds, and etcetera.... and so forth.

 

 

 

Few things about this project:

 

 

 

1.) The of the game is Downtown Minority. Think of it as something like GTA 2, Habbo Hotel, or a gameboy game or something.

 

 

 

2.) Unfortunately, we can't pay you any money as this is a private endeavor. What I mean is, most of the people involved are volunteers!

 

 

 

However when we finish, you can have your name included in the credits but in the meanwhile you will have your own staff position included on Downtown-Minority.com once the new website is up.

 

 

 

 

3.) This is sorta what we need pixelers to do.

 

 

 

 

(Ive included the Habbo Hotel and Wolfenstien sprite as size reference.)

 

 

 

What we need are people who can make linework and shading for cars like these, and people like the uncolored one above.

 

 

4.) The good news is, we have a flexible schedule. Meaning, if you don't have to do what's requested of you right there and then.

 

 

 

We are very casual about this, so you can take your time with the work.

 

 

5.) This is an excellent chance to actually be part of a game making team, and to practice and put into action your pixel making skills.

Yeah, it is in my understanding that this is the format that they will be going with.

 

 

 

Its not hard as it looks actually.

 

 

 

For example, we can just give you a lineart, all we could ask you is to shade it in. Something like that.
