I made a quick pencil sketch of the butterfly with reference. Then put it into corel photopaint and did the coloring and added the leaf and text. This was a fun one. I actually intended this to be only part of the picture with a fairy on it. If I do that version will post it seperately, but I really like this one as it is.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The print is not available yet, mainly did that to see if it would get more views haha. But I did submit it, and will probably make this into a nice puzzle or something for my kids :) (if they do puzzles that size?)

Aah man, that's beautiful art right there. The brushing is amazing... looks really "authentic", and real. The colours are great as well!

Some parts are really exceptional such as the "fuzzy part". But I think some of the other parts such as the legs are a bit lacking. As a whole though its still an interesting/awesome piece.

hm...moth ya say....not sure...the reference said butterfly, but could be a moth. I should really look up the distinction :)
