How could I get music written?

I have lyrics, and a tune, but I can't write music. I have a bit of trouble reading it, do you think people at school would write it for me or something?

OR, if someone would tell me how to record & put on the internet, I could record me singing it and someone could write the music.

Any help would be apprieciated

Depends what instrument you're writing it for. Voice, piano, or most other classical instruments.. you'd have to get someone at school to do it I think. However, if it's for guitar, or another fretted instrument, tab is easy enough.

Good luck with it anyway. :)

Cool.

Get a program called 'guitar pro 4' (you can download it from a download program) Even if you're not too astute on music theory, you can hum the tune and pluck the string on the guitar that sounds the same and write the tune down in guitar pro (assuming you have a guitar).

At the end of the day, having a general knowlege of music theory is reccomended (again, I'm assuming here).

Good luck with your music.
