Lenticular_J
I'm an intermediate/advanced crafter, looking for a cheap way to get to 84. I'm currently using flax, but I would like to know about better options. Any help would be appreciated. :) catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
Joee550
Mine silver in the Chasm mine in Al-Kharid, and smelt the silver you get into tiaras or higher silver jewelery in the Al-kharid furnace. SELF-SUFFICIENT AND PROUD OF IT:http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=5392583#5392583
Eaviljosh89
Collect/Buy Green Hides. Make Green Hide Bodys. Alch them =]
spinster444
as far as cheapest (costing the least to start) i'd say flax is the best if you're willing to put money in, to get money back out (so your total ammount of $$ doesn't really change) buy green d hides, make bodies, alch silver is an alright method as well, but its not very fast at all
teatonev
How about mining gold from the 'Between a Rock...' mine, smelting it using Family Crest gauntlets, making into bracelets, high alching at ?320ea (having crafted my own nats). Too complicated or excellent multiskilling plan.

ctu
I would stay dragon hide body's. Just buy them or go to kill dragons yourself. Check out my blog do get all skills 85+
fenrir321
Make glass orbs, they sell well. Buy the seaweed and sand or ask bert everyday for about 5 days to bring some, npc contact is very useful here. Once you get 56 crafting and 55 mage start high alching water battle staves as they give 1.4k per alch.

Too complicated or excellent multiskilling plan. Mining gold yourself is somewhat long, and the brimhaven ring of charos trip is faster. The gauntlets only affect smithing, not craft anyway. Plus, smelting gold into jewlry gives less exp than silver unless you make gems as well.

Bashful
its really hard to break even for lvl'ing crafting.. so you'll have to lvl some other skills along to earn those gp lost. this is what i do run nats - you'll need them for high-alch'ing use mtk to get flax - cheap supply of 1200+ flax @ 40gp each day spin flax - nice time waster, when between crafting dhides fletch mage longs - kinda hard to sell bs, so just use them youself. high alch the mage longs. craft dhide bodies - fastest and gives the best high alch value. try and keep a small supply of black dhides, as you can sell a set @ 45k make unpowered orbs - the best glass xp, and you'll get much more if you fix the lights in the goblin caves. you'll be leveling 4 skills here. =)
coza_17
OK, so you want CHEAP craft xp? Fair enough. But you cannot get FAST + CHEAP craft xp. No no no, it just doesn't go. When I set out to get 80 crafting (from 70) I bought 33k soft leather, and coifed to 80. A cheaper (but still expensive) alternative is to buy X amount of cowhides and tan them all. Otherwise it's gonna take forever. (Took me a few days to craft all 33k hides)
Lenticular_J
Thanks everyone, I know it won't be fast. At the current rate it will be something like 2 months until I can get it. I might just craft tiaras or something while tradign cuts for uncuts....Only 30k rubies to go :P But those soft leathers sound somewhat fun...I need to earn some money though... And Bashful, while I appreciate the time you took into writing it, there's basically no way in hell i could reach all those levels. :P But yeah, that's my plan...To make a black dragonhide set shop. If it really strikes off like one I just saw yesterday, my goal of full third age melee would be small. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
