July 19, 200718 yr My range pure is lvl 44 range and I would like to know where some 20-30 lvl Why do you think that you need monsters in this level range? Range exp is earned according to HitDone*4 and not according to the level of the monster. Hitting a 2 on a goblin earns the exact same exp as hitting a 2 on a greater demon. Also, most rangers shoot from a safe spot so the monster can't ever hit them anyway. monsters are so that I can shoot them but still pick up my arrows. thx There are lots of monsters that will work for you. Monks from behind their backyard fence, scorpions from above the rim in the Al-kharid desert mine, Al-kharid palace guards, black knight fortress guards, city guards, edgeville "men", moss giants, white knights in their screen room, karamja lessers, etc. Minotaurs in the SoS are also very good. The monks, palace guards, city guards, and white knights are good to use because they are not aggressive until you attack them. You can usually shoot from just outside the monster's "walk range" or use a table, chair, etc between you. It always looks odd when you can shoot a Moss Giant and have it just stand there, with nothing between you and it, and die. lol Finally, you can use the Curse pulling trick to "pull" the monster over to your safe spot. That makes picking up your arrows safe, fast, and easy. Hope this helps

July 19, 200718 yr Well, since everyone was reluctant to answer... SoS is the Stronghold of Security. It is located in the cavern below the mine in the center of Barberian Village. Like other dungeons, caves, etc.. it will be represented by a red exclamation mark on your mini-map. The minotaurs on the first floor are prime range experience until about 50+ range. They drop a good amount of iron arrows, and drop them quite commonly, so you can stock up on arrows while training. From there I suggest that you head to the Hill Giants in the Edgeville Dungeon. Use the brass key to enter a small building West of the Cooking Guild. This is a short-cut to the hill giants. There are many safe-spots along the walls of the cave which you can range/mage the hill giants from. I suggest collecting and banking the big bones and limpwurt roots dropped by the Hill Giants. Bank in the West Varrock bank, and sell your big bones and limpwurt roots at a later time when you have collected a fair amount. Good luck. July 20, 200718 yr You can also range the Guards(level-21) in Edgeville Jail, they are two "caged" inside the jail and two outside of it, you can start by ranging the ones inside it, open the gate, pick up arrows and drops and begin ranging the ones outside, pickup your arrows and rinse and repeat.

Heh, I tried this on the early stages of my pure...and no...it normally doesn't work...why?...Because of N33BZ0RZ3RZ!!!...Example: you are happily training range at the spot mentioned in the quote, when suddenly a lvl 7 with full bronze and an iron dagger comes along and starts opening the gate...so you close it...but then he opens it...so you close it (and remember each time he opens it the guard is gonna pwn through your 1 def)...I got fed up after a while I went and trained on White Knights in Fally Castle.
