July 20, 200719 yr In various places, I've seen Trolls being referred to as good slayer tasks. Which trolls are these people talking about? The only trolls that I've come in contact with are the ice trolls, and the trolls just outside of keldagrim. I almost died just from running past the ice trolls during the Fremmy Isles quest with protect from ranged, and the keldagrim troll hit two 9's in a row so, I just left. How exactly are trolls good for slayer? Also, is there any reason to use yak-hide and the round shield to kill trolls? July 20, 200719 yr if you actually wore the yak armor and fremmenik shield from the quest, you would realize that the max ranged hit decreases to 2 from ice trolls, and the melee trolls hit a lot less. To make it even easier, wear initiate/proselyte armor instead of yak hide, and protect from melee while using the fremmenik shield. Proud owner of a Quest cape!

July 20, 200719 yr Trolls are a good task Death Plateau and trollheim areas have lots of spawns, they aren't that strong a monster. July 21, 200719 yr the 1's in the caves give 0 xp for some reason (not sure about slayer xp) however they have gd drops and drop rune kite and g shield and there are safespots that evern work against the rangers am not sure how hard they are to use but you can come out with some very nice loot if u stay an hour or 2
