WutangFlu Posted February 1, 2005 Author Share Posted February 1, 2005 gotta say that i love it... 1 problem tho, its an acoustic and not a bass.... like the color tho, something to think about changing is making the strings different sizes, as ive never seen a guitar (acoustic) with only 1 kind of string... nice attention to detail tho, maybe you'll make a bass next time... so far i rate 8.5/10 If u want i can make u a bass one... for a sig, or something... but im not doing something that takes this long for free... I especially like the orangish one as it very closely approximates a real guitar. Like me you seem to handle bg's as an afterthought! So my only challenge to you would be to put a bg. But the drawing itself? 10/10, you did what you set out to. Edit: Thought of one other thing that would add to it...but I am not sure how well you can do it in pixel. That top is very slick, high sheen. It should have some specular highlights on it. But again....I would guess pixel can do it ,but it would be much harder than brushing. Name 1 other decent pixeler who's dumb enough to use gradients, it doesn't even look realistic, try actually making it a pixel instead of labelling a PhotoShop made piece a pixel to get more views. Name 1 other decent pixeler who's dumb enough to use gradients, it doesn't even look realistic, try actually making it a pixel instead of labelling a PhotoShop made piece a pixel to get more views. its pixel shading... its the same as puting a gradient in... accept it easier... look at other people who make pixel things... it looks just like a gradient... and when your working at 1200x600 res.... would u want to go pixel by pixel, when u can get the same effect with a grad.
